This was a properly fun project I worked on waaaaay back in November 2019 (in the Before Times). My friends Mike and Katie (www.tado.co.uk) designed the awesome mascot for Sheffield's Children's Hospital Charity, an adorable little bear called Theo.
The charity is putting on a bear trail all over the city (check out https://bearsofsheffield.com/) and one of the bears is a one-off, special statue of Theo himself. Mike and Katie asked if I could help translate their 2D Theo into a 3D model, which then in turn was made into a big fiberglass statue (which TADO also expertly painted). I don't normally take on projects for physical reproduction but I will ALWAYS make an exception for anything with TADO as I love Mike and Katie's work SO much. I thoroughly enjoyed the chance to work with them again and also to play a small part in helping to bring this big statue to life.
